More Deer in Corby's back yard...
Over the Break Corby and I spent time at his home in Ruidoso New Mexico with his family. It was so beautiful and so relaxing. Ever morning we would wake up with about thirty deer in the back yard. They never get hunted there so they are pretty people friendly. as you can see above, I fed a Buck right out of my hand. None of the other deer would do that, but He was eating apples right out of my hand. It was wild. This was especially rare because they were in the "Rut" so my husband calls it or mating season as I know it. They don't usually pay attention or care about anything else around them besides the female deer. There were cougar and bear paws all over from the night before. I was bummed that we didn't get to actually see one. If you didn't know, I love nature and animals, so this was really fun for me.
Other than the animals, we just built this really hard puzzle and relaxed most of the time. That is us on New Years and that is exactly what we did... sat around and did NOTHING!! It was great! Then we went to Cancun for a couple of days and saw some crazy animals there too.
Yup! I didn't know there was salt water croc's either, but I sure know now, and they are HUGE.. This one is about 12ft, and a 'local' told me this guy was small ha! Now that we have enjoyed our break, real life has finally hit again, and we are both back in school for hopefully our last semster both.

I'm glad you had a great vacation! I haven't even seen crocs yet and they are ALL OVER Malawi. I have seen monkeys, and I hear hyenas every night. Thanks for including me in your talk. What was it on? How is Corby doing? I miss you guys so much. If ever you want to save up and visit, I think you would love it here. I love you always and forever chickie!

Katie! I am so glad you found our blog. Your blog is so cute and I am so glad we can catch up with you guys. We have seen Corby a few times at the gym and apparently we live really close to each other. We will have to get together sometime and catch up!
