What's new in our lives? Well if you didn't already know, or haven't guessed it by now; I am Pregnant! Yep that is right. I have a baby growing inside me =) I am 9 weeks, and due in January!
The story...........
I am a regular girl (girls you know what I mean). 28 days, never late, and if I am, it is never more than a day; and every time that I have been, I freak out and I buy like 5 pregnancy tests. This time is much different.
I am late, Day 1.... "oh I am just late cause its summer and my life style has changed so drastically from high stress, finals, school work, to nothing at all." Day 2.... thinking the same thing. Day 3.... "oh, I am just late cause I have had a lot of time to work out like crazy the last 3 days, my body is just adapting." Day 4...... "um, where is my period?" Day 5.... "I know I am not pregnant; maybe I miscalculated my days?" Day 6..... I tell my friend "I think I am going to go buy a pregnancy test just in case."
So I get home from buying them, and I decide I am going to wait til the morning to take the test (since that is what the box says to do). As I am cleaning the kitchen, I walk by the bathroom and saw them on the counter. I decided to go ahead and take one just for the heck of it, and I will try again in the morning.
I take the steps, and leave it in the bathroom. I came back to throw it away (knowing that I for sure am NOT pregnant) and as I am about to throw it away.... "double lines?" "Pregnant?" I dropped to the ground and started to cry, my first thought was "I am scared. I don't know If I am ready for this."
So from there on, to make a long story short. I call Corby and he is so happy, but nervous too. Then after an amazing visit to the temple, we have never looked back and never been so happy in our lives. We feel so blessed that Heavenly Father has trusted us to be parents, and we are SOOOOO excited to have a little rug-rat running around to be apart of our family!
But.....not so excited for 5 more weeks of sickness. But I know it is going to be so worth it. I already love this child so much. It is amazing how much you can care about something you have never met or seen.

I am so happy for you guys! I was pretty surprised because last time we played tennis you even said that it's easy to not get pregnant and so I thought you guys had planned it! But congrats girl! i can't wait to see you for the wedding next month! You guys are gonna make one beautiful child!
Ha Ha Court, it was pretty easy for us to not get pregnant... but we were being careful... this time we weren't. but it wasn't entirely unplanned. We were going to start trying pretty soon. So just a couple months earlier than we had planned =)

HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so so fun and I wish I were around to see your cute belly bump this summer. You are due the same time Steele was due. It is so much fun to start a family and it makes everything change, but for the better!
