The Flowers he gave me...
Then Sunday was a little overwhelming. Corby was called to be the New Elders Corum President, and I just about died. Not from his calling, I literally felt like I was dying. I have felt a mild lower ab pain but from late Saturday night into Sunday, it got so bad it was hard to breath. I wasn't able to get into the doctors until Tuesday because of the Holiday, and I couldn't get an Ultra sound until Wednesday. So I just delt with the pain until then. Monday was Corby's birthday. One of his best friends Bryan Kehl took him snowmobiling all morning. I made him his favorite dinner for lunch for when he came home. I had the house decorated in balloons and streamers and a balloon table cloth. :) I had a little too much fun with it. After he ate and opened his gifts we got ready and went up to dinner in Sundance. That has kind always been "our place" I know you guys all have "those special places" too. After our wonderful dinner we went to see Taken. Corby has been really wanting to see it. It was a really good movie.

By the time Tuesday rolled around, after and extremely fun weekend, I was in a lot of pain still and getting used to very sharp pains coming and going. I got my Ultra Sound Wednesday and they found a cyst almost 2 inches around inside my Ovary... What do you do for it?? Oh nothing, they just sent me on my way and told me they "usually" go away on their own. Even better the nurse said they can feel worse than child birth at some points, so I walked out of there feeling quit comforted as you can imagine. So now I have to sit around for 2 weeks until I can get into a specialist, and most likely he will tell me the same :( but besides feeling like I have cramps 24/7 things are going pretty good for us. Corby and I both are on Intramural Basketball teams. I am on a team with all soccer players, so we aren't very good at basketball, but we beat everyone so far because we can just run a lot. It is way fun. I also just finished playing on a soccer "women's league" team (that makes me feel old) with my old club team. It is way fun. So as for us, we just do school and sports here and there for fun. Quit the exciting life.

Just some of the old club team. . . also Congrats to Katy Reineke (on the bottom right) for recently getting engaged.
And lastly congrats to my best friend Whitney Feller- she is getting married March 10th to an awesome guy named Bo Steed.

Katie I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues! I hope the pain subsides soon :( I was ecstatic when I read your post- I can't believe you two are moving so close to us! We probably won't be in the same ward, but we will have to show you around the real Ft. Lauderdale and Miami! Double dates sound great! It's so beautiful here, but it will definitely be hot at that time! Can't wait, and feel better soon!
Hi KT,
Thanks for your post. I needed that positive outlook. :) I am so glad you had such a fabulous Valentines and birthday for Corby! Way fun. I hope everything is ok with your pain in your side. You never said if you got it checked later or not... I am excited to see you too! I'll need your motivation to workout this summer!!!

Katie, this blog is adorable. I am sorry that you have to just live with cysts since they don't do anything about... lazy doctors, geez. Anyway... you guys are so cute, I love the balloon table cloth for valentines. Miss you!
