The Move to Texas

Some Computer problems have not allowed me to update while I was in Utah, and though it was the simplest thing, I didn't have time to really fix it before the move.... I haven't updated about the move have it....
Yes, we moved. We felt strongly to move to Dallas Texas for a job Corby got. The story:
After this summer, we felt that it was time to move on from summer sales to something more "stable" for lack of better words. We felt it was time to move on to our career job and to start getting settled. Our family is going to start growing soon, and originally summer sales was supposed to be temporary, and it was. But once Corby decided not to do medical school we continued to work for vivint and didn't know what our future would bring. Corby knew he enjoyed sales, and so once we knew we were done doing the summer sales program, he started looking at different sales job opportunities.
When passing through Dallas in September, Corby's uncle mentioned one of his clients jobs doing commercial real estate. His uncle mentioned Corby to his client, and told him that Corby should come in. Corby went in for an interview, but it was what it was. We didn't have a good or bad feeling about it, it was just a job interview and that's that. Corby actually came home and said "I bombed that interview, it went horrible." but they mentioned at the end to have Corby call if he was interested. Well Comes December and the other jobs he was more interested in just weren't working out. Randomly Corby and I started to think about the Texas job offer, and the good potential it had. After talking We decided we really needed to go to the temple about it, and see what He would have us do.
I was more going to get it "out of the picture", because in my mind it was more of a no. There was no way I wanted to move my life to Texas. Nothing was exciting about that to me, no friends none of my family and far from home, but I wanted to make sure that the Lord told me the same answer I had made up in my mind.
During the session, something was said that literally shook through my body, I was weak in the knees, and I immediately felt a strong feeling, so strong I could almost hear the voice say "you need to move to Texas" then I felt a comfort say "I will take care of you." at the end, I sat in the Celestial room with my husband and we sat and talked about how we felt. Corby said "I got my answer but I don't want it to influence yours, so on the count if 3 we will say yes or no based off of our answer whether or not to move to Texas." So we did and on 3 I said "no" and Corby said "Yes" and he turned bright red.... Ha, scared him to death! Then I said just kidding and told him my experience. It was so neat to hear that Corby had his answer in the exact same way, same time and same exact feeling I had. It was very special, I think I needed it to be extremely obvious and powerful because I know I would have doubted it otherwise because I was real hesitant to move unless I KNEW it was right.... and I can now say I KNOW I have my answer and that we are supposed to be in Texas! We are now here. The travel was long and moving is never fun, but we made it safe and the holidays were so fun! The Hodgkiss Family can Party! We will be here for 10-20 years depending on how he does.
That is our latest. I will update next time with pictures and stories of thanksgiving, Christmas, new years and her 1st birthday!

Wow what a big adventure for your family! That is so neat about getting the same feeling in the temple. I got chills! Moving can be really hard, but if the Lord says its right, I guess its right! haha. We are kinda facing the same thing right now...but well see! Good luck with everything and im glad your computer is working again, yay!
